Public transportation

Using local public transportation is the best way to get around during the 2020 UCI Road World Championships.
We have been working closely with our local and national partners in order to guarantee an efficient and fast service in the region of Vaud and Valais. The various options and the schedule will be announced when tickets go on sale.

Arriving by car

If you plan on arriving by car, you will need to arrange your itinerary and parking in advance. Parking spaces will be available in Aigle and other departure points as well as in the Martigny region. More details will be announced closer to the event.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that a motorway vignette is required in Switzerland. It costs 40 Swiss Francs and is valid until January 31 of the following year. You can buy it at the customs, in every post office and petrol station.

Arriving by camper

If you plan on coming to the 2020 UCI Road World Championships with your camper, you will be able to use the official camping ground in Aigle.
It is forbidden to camp on official parking lots and we would like to remind you that every city has its own regulations regarding free camping. We would be grateful if you did your research prior to your arrival.
